the international conversation. Not the festival recaps, not the "Asia's
rising scene" listicles written from somewhere else. The actual thing —
a warehouse night in Lower Parel that started at 1am because the permit
took forever. A sound system built by hand in a garage because importing
one costs more than the party could ever make back. A Bangalore crowd
that knows every word to a track that never charted anywhere.
RAVER exists to document that. Not cover it from a distance — document
it, the way you'd document something you're inside of, because we are.

We're not trying to sound like a scene from somewhere else translated
into India. We're trying to write the one that's actually here.
